This month inFocus looks at the Research & Development department at Taylor

The Research & Development department at Taylor plays a vital role in the developing and releasing new and innovative products to the waste and recycling container and container housing market. Working to create aesthetic solutions to the problems of on street public recycling and boosting public engagement in recycling with products such as the CowBin™

Most recently they have been working on the Taylor Street™ housing and the Continental DuoBin™ which has recently been noted as one of MRW’s bin highlights of the year.

The department have also built on the success of our Flagship 1100 litre steel container, to create products such as the Continental Cage™ and Easy Open foot operated container.

As well as developing new products, our dedicated R&D team at Taylor ensure that our products are thoroughly tested to conform and exceed international EN 840, EN 14803 and EN 1501 standards as well as this they ensure our clinical containers meet UN clinical waste standards.

We freeze, drop and even set fire to our containers in our purpose built on-site testing facility, all in the name of ensuring that the standards and quality we pride ourselves on at Taylor are maintained. Ensuring that the container you investment will be in service for many years to come.

The research & development team headed by Mark Roberts, the Technical Manager at Taylor encompasses a range of multi-disciplined staff with unrivalled experience and powerful state of the art equipment.

Taylor also have an in house graphic design & logo team to further help meet your exact requirements, be this a four wheeled steel container, an aesthetic street solution or just a new logo.
