Taylor launches new bin refurbishment service

TAYLOR INTRODUCES GOLD, SILVER & BRONZE BIN REFURBISHMENT SERVICE, PROVIDING COST SAVING OPTIONS TO MEET ALL BUDGETS.

Taylor has launched a new range of refurbishment services for waste and recycling containers that can help local authorities and businesses to cut costs by as much as 60%. The offering enables users to select from three cost options: Gold, Silver and Bronze. Prices start at £70, delivering the flexibility to meet all budgets and requirements.

"Refurbishment is the most cost effective way to maintain a bin fleet; and as the UK's leading manufacturer of bins, with a market leading refurbishment facility, we are best placed to provide this service," said Bob Harris, Taylor UK Sales Manager.

"At Taylor we can process up to 1,000 containers a week. This experience, and a detailed understanding of container functionality, gives Taylor a unique ability to provide customers with a safe and reliable service. We also recognise that a 'one- size- fits- all' approach to refurbishment is not always appropriate, especially under today's economic conditions where budgets everywhere are under pressure. As a result, we have introduced a three-tier service offering, where the customer can determine what level of refurbishment and cost is most appropriate to their budget."

Prices start at £70 for the Bronze service, rising to £85 for the Silver service and £99 for the top of the range Gold option where all castors are replaced and a new recycling lid included, with any additional work at extra cost. "To put these costs into context, they can represent savings of as much as 60% compared to buying new," continued Mr Harris.

As you would expect, the scope of the Taylor refurbishment service is comprehensive, including initial safety inspection, container reshaping, shot blasting to remove old paint (yet still protect the galvanised coating), replacement lid and castor options, re-spraying and new logos. The bin is then returned to the user looking as good as new.

A key feature of the Taylor refurbishment programme is that all fitted parts are genuine Taylor spares. Where applicable, these comply with EN 840 and adhere to the HSE's WISH guidelines. This adherence to standards is a safeguard for organisations, providing evidence of best practice in the adoption of equipment.

The service is ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001 accredited. This assures customers that the work undertaken is fully compliant with environmental legislation.
