Taylor Intelligence was created in 2007 to help bring more vision to the waste and recycling sector.

Recent projects include:

1. 'Taking Recycling To A New Level', a report published in 2010 detailing how the use of the Taylor node recycling centre outside high and low rise residential flats, increased recycling rates from almost nothing to 2.09kg per household per week.

2. 'Bring on Recycling' this report published in 2008 explores the essential role of bring sites in achieving future recycling targets in the UK

3. The publication of a guide ‘ Waste and recycling infrastructure solutions for developers, planners, regeneration companies, architects and builders’.

4. ' ‘Recycling in UK plc: A state of the workplace report’, research into commercial recycling in UK businesses, with a focus on SMEs

Taylor intelligence is active in the following areas:

• scanning the horizon for emerging trends and issues in the waste and recycling markets and keeping Taylor one step ahead
• looking at the mid-term and long-term implications of UK Government strategy
• commissioning independent research to see how we can get people to fully embrace recycling

Further projects are now underway and their results will be published in 2011.
